ABOUT ME
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Theo Sawyer is a London-based musician and producer. Theo’s dynamic sound is influenced from a plethora of old school and contemporary artists alike. Theo pairs his modern pop-rock and alternative sound scapes with honest and emotionally intelligent lyrics and storytelling.
In 2022, Theo released his debut single 'Forget Your Ex', a post-break-up anthem dedicated to those who want to put the past behind them and move onwards to new and exciting things.
Theo's second single 'Love Drunk', was a nod to the euphoric feeling and hopefulness/uncertainty of new love when falling for somebody; highlighting the universal feeling that “we all just want to be in love”. His raw piano ballad 'Download A Ghost' explains how we can ‘download ghosts’, distractions, quick and easy dopamine hits because it feels better than looking inward. Fresh into 2023, Theo dropped his ‘situationship’ inspired story ‘Get Together (Lonely)', highlighting the complexities that arise between two people who ‘only ever get together when they’re feeling lonely’. Theo is set to release his first 6 track EP later in 2023.
